I am Nehmiah Barker, a passionate griot/visual artist based in Chicago, IL. I'm inspired by nature, its rawness, and how that connects to the human experience.

 

I am the founder and CEO of N.VYY Productions (2017) , a visual production company dedicated to producing art/content that amplifies underrepresented voices and shines light in the dark areas of life where faith is necessary, offering a new perspective.

 

Full time, I am an artist of all kinds: director, writer, photographer, videographer, singer, actress, painter, and digital artist. Standing alone, none of those gifts define me. I find my joy where I can collaborate with likeminded creatives or have an experience that allows me to learn something new about this world or myself.
